With the increasing importance of exports between Turkey and Africa, the first of the “Turkey-Africa Exporters Cooperation Launch”, which will have the opportunity to meet with strong and reliable businessmen and businesswomen of Africa, which has become a target market all over the world, was held by TURCAF on September 4th. It will be held in Topkapı, Istanbul on Monday. At the launch, where more than 600 businessmen and businesswomen are planned to come together, Muhammet Ali Aras, President of the Turkish African Exporters Association, will explain how manufacturers will facilitate their entry into the African market.

The new generation export system developed by TURCAF will also be introduced at the launch ceremony, which aims to bring together innovative businessmen and businesswomen of Turkey and businessmen and businesswomen of Africa who are keeping up with the new age, on a safe ground, and to remove borders thanks to e-export.

Aras said, “The Turkish African Exporters Platform was established in a process related to the reliable and easy export of Turkish manufacturers to the African continent. We have 10 years of experience, based on this experience, we said, ‘How do our manufacturers export reliable in Africa while exporting here’, we worked with our team and established the Turkish African Exporters Platform. Our main system consists of two parts, the first part is the digital platform, the part we call e-export. The second part is traditional marketing. When a manufacturer comes to us, we take the person who says, ‘I have products, I don’t know how to export to the African continent, I don’t know how to advertise’, and we upload them to our digital platform with their products. Due to the advertisements we give to the target customer by advertising in 42 countries, If the person wants to export with the company, they enter the company profile and start exporting with the company through the artificial intelligence converter. In addition, ‘I sold my product, I don’t know how to do logistics and customs clearance?’ For those who say, they can get a logistics offer through our system and get help with customs clearance. There is also our traditional marketing side. From the moment the company comes to us, we broadcast its 12-second video on national news channels with local languages in Africa. We also have magazines that we publish in 5 sectors. For example, we put your company profile in the magazine, our sales personnel there knock on our customer’s door and leave the magazine directly,” he said.

Aras said, “One of our purposes of making TURCAF is related to the easy and comfortable export of our producers to Africa. The launch of our platform will take place on September 4th. In addition, we will have more than 300 manufacturers. We will also have buyers coming from the African continent. Our main purpose at the launch is to elaborate the system in more detail, to increase the awareness of our companies in the African continent, and to explain the processes about how our companies will export to Africa. We recruit 3 companies from each sector. For example, when three ceramists come to us, we accept them, when the fourth comes, they have to wait for the next year. Because we buy three companies and ensure that everyone exports. After September 4, there will be action processes that we will take regarding the companies that come to us. Related to our 12 offices,

Aras said, “Africa has a population of 1.2 billion. So when we look at the buyer potential, it is impossible to count the numbers. Because a very large population means a very large buyer. Even if we work completely from Turkey to Africa, it will not be enough to feed the African continent. Especially at the moment, there is the integration of the African continent with France and Belgium, that is, they say ‘we do not want them’. That’s why they will look for a way out here and they will choose Turkey. In other words, Türkiye will not have a problem with buyers. On the sales side, many of our companies started to form gradually, there were already sectors we worked in before. Our aim is to export 300 companies and 99 percent of 300 companies to Africa this year,” he said.
