As the founder of the Mindshift Empowerment and Employment Initiative (MEEI Program), I have witnessed firsthand the barriers that many face in achieving their dreams whether it’s a lack of resources, guidance, or the right connections. When I embarked on this journey, my goal was simple: to create a platform that offers not just opportunities, but a sense of community, a space where everyone feels empowered to realise their potential.
Upon arriving in Turkey, I saw a unique challenge and a greater opportunity. Many foreign residents, particularly Africans, were struggling to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses. I realised there was a critical need for mentorship, skill development, and financial support essential elements to empower individuals to thrive. This realisation planted the seeds of the ME Program.
The MEEI Program was created to address these needs by building an inclusive, global network of like-minded individuals, organisations, and communities. It’s about resilience, innovation, sustainability, and empowerment (RISE). These values guide us in every initiative, from our B2B matchmaking services that connect entrepreneurs with investors, to our women empowerment programs and skill-building workshops.
My vision is to see the MEEI Program evolve into a global force that transforms lives, lifts communities, and shapes industries. Together, we’re not only creating businesses; we’re fostering a movement that inspires growth, promotes collaboration, and nurtures potential in every corner of the world.
